Elaine Purkey in Oak Hill at The Ampitheater "One Day More"

Elaine Purkey sings “One Day More, a song she wrote, at the Oak Hill screening of the award winning film Moving Mountains, by Penny Loeb who wrote the book of the same name. The true story of West Virginians Elaine Purkey, Trish Bragg, Dewey Bragg and others who took on Big Coal..and won!

If you would like to see this film it is now available on AmazOn.com, Www movingmountainsthemovie website etc. Or contact us for a screening in YOUR community.

Films in West Virginia with mostly WV actors, like myself, and mega star Theresa Russell, in and around Delbarton, Mingo county, WV.

It was Russell‘s first movie, after taking time off, choosing this film over many offers, because the story moved her to come out of a brief seclusion from acting, to come to the secluded hollers of WV to tell this classic story of self-described “housewife”, Trish Bragg’s enormous courage and faith in the face of overwhelming odds.

An excellent kid’s film..an inspiring story of triumph over adversity for the entire family.
With script by Pulitzer finalist, Penny Loeb.
